Rabo Impact Fund

Product development often requires investment, and Rabobank has a wide range of financing options to help you with that. In the early phase, Rabo Impact Fund can sometimes make a decisive difference; allowing you to build a prototype or conduct a pilot project, for example. To be eligible for a contribution from the Impact Fund, you must meet a number of selection criteria.

Promising ideas
Innovations can be eligible for a contribution from the Impact Fund if the product, concept or service is new in a social, economic, technological or ecological aspect, and has not yet proven itself in the market. It must also contribute to at least one of the following three transistions: Food Transition Energy Transition and Financially Healthy Life. It’s also important for the idea to offer a high level of added value for the market or consumer, and for it to be attainable (and cover the costs) within a realistic time frame. Maximum contribution 25.000 euros
The minimum amount for a contribution from the Rabo Impact Fund for innovations is 750 euros, and the maximum is 25,000 euros.  Grants will only be transferred to a Rabobank account. If you’re not yet a Rabobank customer, but are willing to become one, you can state that on your application. 

Pitch your idea to the Advisory Council
Our members help decide which initiatives to support with the Impact Fund. We invite applicants to come and pitch their idea for an innovation. Based on your pitch, the Advisory Council will decide whether or not to approve a contribution from the fund. The Advisory Council meets four times per year.
