Client acceptance procedure
To ensure your application is managed as efficient and smooth as possible, we have divided our onboarding procedure into six different steps. Each step has its own requirements in regard to the information and documentation that is needed at that moment. By working this way we strive to minimize the provision of any unnecessary information or documentation.
By submitting your online application you have provided us with the basic details of your request. Even though the application is processed by our robot, we make sure that every application is checked manually before receiving our response.
To form a first impression of the banking possibilities we can offer you and to determine the costs of the onboarding, we would like to receive a filled in application form, a business plan, and a company structure chart. More information about the necessary documents for this step can be found in point 1.1, 1.2 and 1.3 in the document checklist of this manual.
If we can continue with the onboarding of your company as a client with Rabobank in the Netherlands, we will plan a (virtual) meeting to get acquainted with you and your company. During our meeting we will take time to better get to know you and your company and to address the potential thresholds for onboarding your company.
At this point we will provide you with a list of all documents and information necessary to start our Due Diligence. More information about all the possible documents for this step can be found in point 2.1 untill 2.11 from the document checklist of this manual.
After receiving all the required documents and information, we will submit your application to our compliance department. Please take into consideration that the screening can take some time and additional information or documents might be necessary.
After the succesfull onboarding of your company, we will schedule a (virtual) meeting to open the account and discuss any other banking facilities you need. Rabobank offers a dedicated regional client team for all our inbound clients. Once the account is operational, we will bring you in contact with your local client team so they can assist you with your current banking needs.
At this point the Inbound Clients Desk has completed their task and your company will receive a decicated local client team that can help you with all your future banking needs and offer you support for your business activities in the Netherlands.
