Frequently Asked Questions about Rabo Easy FX
Rabo Easy FX is available in Dutch and English. When you log into the app for the first time, you can choose Dutch or English. Afterwards, you can change the language by logging in and going to the "More" option. There, you will find the "Language" option. After clicking, you will be logged out and you can log in again. For the desktop version, you can choose English or Dutch at the top right of the screen.
Use CTRL + F to search for key words and find your question and answer.
Rabo Easy FX can be used through a web browser on a mobile device. It is also available as an app. Downloading the app can be done in two ways. After logging in on the web version of Rabo Easy FX, scan the QR code at the bottom of the screen. By clicking, a pop-up will appear containing the QR code and download instructions. You can also download the app from the App Store and Play Store by searching for Rabo Easy FX.
The first login is initiated via an activation email that contains the username. Through the activation link, you create a password and set up two factor verification (SMS or authentication app).
After the first login, you can login to Easy FX via the web version (desktop) or the app version (mobile). You can also use QR login quick and easy.
What do I need to use QR login?
It is possible to log in to Web quick and easy, by using QR login. In order to use QR login, the Rabo Easy FX app needs to be registered on your device. Under Is there a mobile version of Easy FX? you can read how to download the app. Under Which login options are available? you can read how to log in for the first time. After following the instructions, it is also possible to use QR login.
How does QR login work?
To log in via Web, you navigate to https://www.rabobank.nl/easyfx. Under the first text fragment, ‘Log in’ can be found.
On the login screen, you select ‘Choose alternative login method’. Then, you select QR code.
Go to the Rabo Easy FX mobile app and select the QR symbol in the top right corner.
Enter your pin and scan the QR code of the Web version of Easy FX with your camera.
You will be logged in automatically.

Can my password expire when using QR login?
While using QR login, the password of the web version of Rabo Easy FX is underlying. This means that when you use QR login, the password will expire after a while. In order to keep using QR login, your password will need to be renewed by following the steps of the reset password flow.

Then, you receive a code via SMS or the authentication app. Fill out this code and select Sign In to enter Easy FX. You can also select ‘Choose alternative login method’. You then get the option to login using QR code which can only be used combined with the Rabo Easy FX app. Go to the app and select the QR symbol in the top right corner. Enter your pin and scan the QR code of the Web version of Easy FX with your camera. You will be logged in automatically.
To login to the app for the first time, open the app after downloading and choose Login. After filling out your username and password, select Sign In. Enter your verification code and continue. Enter a recognizable name for your device (for recognizability in the web version) and an access code. As of now, this code is used to login to the app. You are now ready to use the Easy FX app. If you want to use Face-ID (iOS) or Fingerprint (Android and iOS) to access the app, you can set this up when logging in for the first time. You need to give permission for this via settings on your smartphone. The pop-up during setup will inform you further.
You can view your transactions under the "Reports" heading in the blue bar. You can apply filters. You also have the option at the bottom of the page to download an export of your summary to Excel.

Once the transaction has been executed, you can find the debit/credit in the transaction overview in Rabo Business Banking.
Before and after a transaction, Rabo Easy FX informs you of the cost of a transaction. These costs are shown in euros under the "Cost & Charges Amount" (CCA) and as a percentage under "CCA%". These fees are not charged separately, but are included in the exchange rate under the heading "All-in Rate".
Make sure you are using the correct link: easyfx.rabobank.nl. The preferred browsers to use Rabo Easy FX are Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. The two most recent versions of these browsers are supported.
If using the correct link does not resolve the error message, you can delete the cookies. You do this by:
The universal way to delete cookies and cache is with key combination CTRL+SHIFT+DEL(ETE).
Select 'All time' in the time range field.
Note: Please note that data such as auto-filled e-mail addresses, passwords stored in the browser and similar data may be lost.
Below, the removal of cookies is also described per browser. Always close all browser windows after deleting the browser data. Then open a new session and perform the desired action.
Google Chrome
Click on the 3 dots at the top right
Go to "History" and recent tabs

Then click "Clear browsing data (from first use)"
Microsoft Edge
Click on the 3 dots at the top right and then on "Settings"
In the new menu, click on: "Choose what you want to delete". In the "Clear browsing data" menu, some options are checked by default. See what needs to be removed

Click on an empty spot outside the settings menu to exit "Settings"
Firefox
Click the 3 dots in the upper right corner or the Firefox logo in the upper left corner
Click on "Options"

Then select "Delete individual cookies"
Finally, click "Delete all cookies"
Safari
Note that when you use iCloud, this data is also deleted on linked devices such as (other) iPhones, iPads or Macs
Deleting cookies on the Mac
Open Safari
On the left side of the menu bar, click "Safari"
Click on "Clear history"
A new window appears. Delete the history of a particular period. To do so, click on the drop-down menu behind "Delete"
Click on the desired period, for example, entire history
Finally, click "Clear History"
You can also delete website data and cookies manually via Safari ▸ Menu bar ▸ Safari ▸ Preferences ▸ Privacy ▸ Manage website data. Then delete all or by website.

It may vary slightly from one tablet/phone to another. For example, with Chrome on a phone, you will be able to choose history right from the menu and delete the data from there.
Another solution that often helps is to open a browser in private mode, also known as incognito mode. You do this by right-clicking the icon of your browser and choosing incognito window (Chrome), InPrivate window (Microsoft Edge) or private window (Firefox and Safari).
When you get the following error message "It looks like your password has expired. You can change your password by logging into the web version of Rabo Easy FX", you must first log into the web version to change the password there. After this, you can log back into Rabo Easy FX Mobile using your trusted PIN.
If even before logging in you get a red message on your phone with the error message "Access prohibited" or the page remains (partially) white, the entire registration should be deleted. To do so, go through the following steps ▸ Log in to the web version of Easy FX ▸ Click on the figure icon ▸ Go to "Personal Settings" ▸ Click on "Mobile App Management" ▸ Choose "Reset pin code" and then click on the Recycle Bin behind the name of your registration.
After following the steps above, it is necessary to clean up the temporary files.
For most Android phones, you can use the steps below
Go to settings and choose "Storage".
Select Rabo Easy FX (or first choose the category under which it is stored and then our application)
Here you choose "Clear Cache"; after this the cache is cleared.
For Apple phones, the process is as follows:
Go to settings and choose "General" and then "iPhone Storage".
Select Rabo Easy FX (or first choose the category under which it is stored and then our application)
Here you choose "Remove app". After this you can download the app again from the App store.
Next, you open the app and re-enter the registration flow. If this is not the case, you need to re-install the app. After re-install, you re-enter the app in the registration flow.
For example, "No (live) rate"/ "No response from"/ "Cancelled by"/ "Awaiting approval – the market" or "Unknown error (Unspecified error)"

If you are already logged in and want to change your password, follow these steps:
The employee with the "Admin" user role can do this.
If you don't remember the PIN, log in via the web version, go to "Personal settings" via the figure icon / your photo, and choose "Mobile app management" from the left menu. Behind "Registered devices", choose "Reset pin code". When you go back to the app, key in PIN 12345 and re-enter the process to set your PIN. First enter your username and password, then your two-step verification code, and finally choose a new PIN.
When logging into the app for the first time, you can choose to log in via Face-ID (iOS only) or Fingerprint (Both Android and iOS) in addition to the PIN.
When working in the app and you wish to change your PIN, go to "More" > "Security" and choose "Change PIN". Next, enter your current PIN first, then enter a new PIN. You will be logged out immediately after this and you can then log in with your new code.
Transactions which have been executed between 4 and 7 years ago, can be requested via Support Payment Applications (SPA). You can contact them by sending an email to onlinebankingsupport@rabobank.nl. Make sure the following details are mentioned in the email:
In Rabo Easy FX you can enter spot transactions with execution date today, tomorrow or spot. Clients who are allowed to execute derivatives can also select a date further in the future.
The time of day when the money is transferred is not fixed. This means you could receive the money anywhere between the begin and end of the business day.
Please note each currency has its own cut-off time for transactions settled today. After the cut-off time the FX market for this currency has closed. If you want to settle your payment after the cut-off time, you can select execution day tomorrow.
For some currencies there is a cut-off time for tomorrow. The cut-off time for tomorrow is later than the cut-off time for today. After the tomorrow cut-off time, the only possible execution date is spot (the day after tomorrow, counted in business days).
